Salman Faris SAMAH is a PhD student in Nuclear Technologies and Data Science. He joined the Canada Excellence Research Chair in Data Science for Real-Time Decision-Making under the direction of Professor Andreas LODI as Visiting Researcher at Polytechnique Montréal. His current research interests Deep Learning, include Parallel and Distributed Algorithms, Modelling of nuclear reactors and power plants, Nuclear Dismantling Scenarios.
He is research engineer and Big Data Project Manager at the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA Marcoule). He is also member of the research group of LIRMM (Laboratoire d’Informatique, de Robotique et de Microélectronique de Montpellier), of MRM (Montpellier Research in Management), and is involved in the organization of several International events: INDEX (International Nuclear Digital Experience)
