Dr. Matteo Cacciola

Matteo joined the Chair in January 2020. He holds a master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Pisa and he is currently enrolled in the Ph.D. in Mathematics at Polytechnique Montreal, under the supervision of Professor Andrea Lodi.

Matteo’s main research interests are Optimization, Machine Learning  and the ways in which these two fields can help each other.
