Dr. Guillaume Pouliot

Guillaume A. Pouliot is Assistant Professor of Data Science and Public Policy at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago. Guillaume did his B.A. in economics and M.S. in Statistics (concurrent) at the University of Chicago, and his PhD in economics at Harvard University. His research interests gravitate around regression analysis, mathematical statistics, statistical machine learning, and spatial statistics. His research within the Chair focuses on empirical social science problems, particularly those at the intersection of machine learning and economics, whose resolution requires new optimization methods.
