Hugo is a master’s student in Applied Mathematics at Polytechnique Montréal, under the supervision of Andrea Lodi and Jonathan Jalbert. His research focuses on developing a decision-aid tool in the health care environment, based on data science. The objective is to provide useful and understandable information to end-stage kidney disease patients, to inform their decision to either accept or decline a current kidney transplant offer they’re being proposed. Hugo’s fields of interest are applied statistics and probabilities, machine learning, and optimization.
